Background

He was admitted to the Nigerian Bar in November 2013 and has remained in active legal practice since then. His areas of expertise include corporate structuring and restructuring, board advisory and evaluations, employment and labour law, energy and natural resources law, regulatory compliance, enhanced due diligence, and the drafting, review and negotiation of commercial agreements, policy documents and other complex legal documentation.

Dipo began his legal career as a Pupil State Counsel at the Enugu State Ministry of Justice in 2013 before moving into corporate commercial law and dispute resolution practice in 2014. Over the years, he has advised individual and corporate clients, including start-ups and established businesses, on legal, governance and regulatory matters. He has also handled and resolved several commercial and specialised disputes.

He is a Capital Market Solicitor and a registered Regulatory Compliance Officer with the Securities and Exchange Commission. He is also a licensed agent of the Corporate Affairs Commission and the Federal Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment, with significant experience in the registration, structuring and governance of companies.

Dipo holds a Master of Laws degree from the University of Lagos. He is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association, the Capital Market Solicitors Association of Nigeria and the Business Rescue and Insolvency Practitioners Association of Nigeria. He is also a Notary Public of the Supreme Court of Nigeria.
